Natsunokumo chapter 17

Finally! I don't think this qualifies as "weekend" anymore (perhaps it's still Sunday somewhere out there...) but better late than never.
In this chapter we bear witness to the complete awesomeness of pissed-off Gigia, and open hostilities with the mercenary group- but the always crafty Crank will find a way to settle things in a (somewhat) civil way.

Next chapter, the last one for which there were scripts available left from the translator who started the project way back when, it's coming sometime in August. No clue exactly when, 'cause it's more than 32°C here and my brain is starting to melt.

Chapter 17 delayed

I'm sorry to announce that chapter 17 will be coming next week, at the earliest, and not this weekend. I could blame a problem with my desktop as the cause, but really, there was a Guild Wars 2 beta coming, so not much of a chance of me working on it this weekend to begin with.

Here it is, chapter 16 - Group Encounter #2. The bodyguards and the adults of the Zoo meet to plan their countermeasures against the onslaught of curious players that have flooded the board, but trouble's afoot in their own home. Also, GIGIA SMASH!

In other news, I may have successfully convinced a translator to help out with the scripts, so there's still hope of seeing the whole manga through. Still, 4 volumes are a lot for a single person, so if there's anyone else available to help, you're more than welcome.

Chapter 15 - Group Encounter #1 is done!

In this chapter, we see the aftermath of the clash with Kabaki, and how Gaur's holding up after the loss of her beloved Grandma. Also, a little more insight into what has happened in the past at the Zoo, and as per usual a look at how people online can be gigantic assholes.

Still no translator in sight, so again, we only have 3 chapters left to go. I'm sounding more and more like a broken record, but I'd really like to see this translated to the end- and avoid commissioning a translator if at all possible. If anyone is willing to step up and take care of the script leave a comment here on the blog, or send an email to secondhandscans@gmail.com.

If a group wants to pick it up the project and release it as their own, feel free to do so.
Chapter 16 will come later in the month, depending if I manage to leave town for a while or not.

Natsunokumo chapter 4.5 - Side Story

Hello again! Today comes the extra chapter from the first volume, a look at how Itaka first came to be a part of the Zoo, with a guest appearance of Sancho and Katsutoshi (the guys with the funny accents from Volume 2).

According to mangaupdates, this chapter war already released by mangascreener way back when, but I couldn't find it online. The script was available, so I re-did it. Way to be efficient!
